Kara Kelley
Kara joined CoreMessage in May 2008 as a summer intern where she was quickly
promoted to a public relations assistant. In this position her responsibilities included
creating and maintaining media contact lists, conducting client research, monitoring
client news and assisting account executives and senior management with client
projects. In May 2009, Kara advanced to a junior account executive position and
expanded her responsibilities such as pitching client news, coordinating and executing
special events and grassroots initiatives as well as drafting and editing public relations
materials.
Prior to joining CoreMessage, Kara was a supervisor at Oppenheim Research in
Tallahassee, Florida where she monitored staff and facilitated public opinion surveys
and focus groups. Kara is a senior at Florida State University (FSU) seeking a degree in
communications and a minor in business. She is currently the vice president of the
student chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association and interning at FSU’s
Sports Information Office.
Danielle Brydia
Danielle joined the CoreMessage team in May 2009 as a summer intern. Her
responsibilities at CoreMessage include conducting client research, drafting and editing
public relations materials and assisting account executives and senior management with
client projects. Danielle is a senior majoring in communication studies at Florida State
University. Throughout her college experience, Danielle has been active in the student
chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association as well as the National Society of
Collegiate Scholars. She hopes to use this internship as a basis to further her post-collegiate
career in corporate communications.
Maribeth Browning
Maribeth joined the CoreMessage team in September 2009 as a fall intern. Her skills
involve creating and maintaining publicity reports, media lists, and office management
procedures. Maribeth is currently a junior at Florida State University pursuing a major in
business management and marketing along with a minor in psychology. Throughout her
college experience, Maribeth has been an active member in the Women in Business
Club, Florida State University greek life, and the Golden Key National Honour Society.
Maribeth plans to use her experience at CoreMessage to further her post-collegiate
career in the corporate world.
Morgan Brosman
Morgan joined the CoreMessage team this year as a spring intern. Her responsibilities
include conducting client research, building media lists and creating and updating
publicity reports.
Morgan is currently a sophomore at Florida State University pursing a
major in communication studies along with a minor in sociology and a certificate in
leadership studies. Throughout her college career, Morgan has been an active member in
the Florida Public Relations Association and has held multiple positions in Florida State
University’s Student Government Association. She is also the secretary of her sorority,
Zeta Tau Alpha.
Morgan plans to use this internship to gain knowledge and professional
experience that she can apply to her current studies and future career goals.
